About Me
Conflict is difficult — but it is also a normal and inevitable part of human relationships.
When handled deliberately, it can clarify what matters, surface long-buried issues, and create the opportunity for meaningful resolution.
As a trained mediator and communication studies professor, I bring both structure and insight to the process. Years of teaching and facilitating complex conversations have shaped my ability to guide dialogue with clarity, balance, and purpose. I help people slow down the conversation, identify what truly needs to be addressed, and separate what must be resolved from what can be left behind.
Because many disputes involve people who will continue to share children, work, history, or community, the way a conflict is resolved matters. Agreements reached through mediation can preserve dignity, reduce unnecessary harm, and make future interaction more workable.
My Approach
My approach is informed by both professional training and lived experience, including navigating profound loss within my own family. I understand how layered conflict can become when grief and major life decisions intersect, and I approach those conversations with steadiness, patience, and respect for what is at stake.
Whether working with separating couples, co-parents, business partners, or families in transition, I offer a calm, grounded presence. My goal is not simply resolution — it is resolution that allows people to move forward with stability and a workable connection.”
