Resolve The Conflict.

Preserve What Matters.

Mediation with heart

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a structured, confidential process designed to help people resolve conflict without unnecessary escalation.

Mediation is not litigation or therapy.

Unlike litigation, it does not position one side against

the other or place decision-making in the hands of a third party. Unlike therapy, it does not center on emotional processing.

Instead, mediation creates a balanced setting in which each person can be heard, issues can be clarified, and workable agreements can be reached.

The mediator does not take sides, give legal advice, or decide the outcome.

The mediator’s role is to guide the process, maintain balance, ask the right questions, and help the parties reach their own informed decisions.

Some disputes could be handled in court. Others would never belong there. Mediation is flexible enough to serve both. It provides a steady framework for navigating difficult conversations — whether the goal is a formal agreement, a clarified understanding, or a clear path forward.

"It is not about winning; it is about finding a solution that works.”

About Me

Conflict is difficult — but it is also a normal and inevitable part of human relationships.

When handled deliberately, it can clarify what matters, surface long-buried issues, and create the opportunity for meaningful resolution.

As a trained mediator and communication studies professor, I bring both structure and insight to the process. Years of teaching and facilitating complex conversations have shaped my ability to guide dialogue with clarity, balance, and purpose. I help people slow down the conversation, identify what truly needs to be addressed, and separate what must be resolved from what can be left behind.
